The former England captain’s stunning collection of Italian supercars comes to a combined value of £4million, while he also owns another three additional vehicles.
Legendary Chelsea defender John Terry owns four Ferraris including an ultra-rare Enzo model worth £2million that he bought back in 2013.
The retired former England captain’s Ferrari collection alone is valued at £4million, while he also owns a Rolls Royce, Bentley and Range Rover worth an additional £400,000.
Terry has previously revealed that owning a Ferrari was one of his childhood dreams, with the five-time Premier League champion storing his four Ferraris at his Surrey home.
The 40-year-old has been making headlines in recent days having joined Twitter over the weekend and he has also been strongly linked with the vacant Aston Villa job.
The most expensive car in Terry’s Ferrari collection is a 2002 Enzo worth £2million that is one of just 400 in the world that were produced by the Italian car manufacturers.
Ferrari’s Enzo model vehicles were produced using Formula One technology, are equipped with a carbon-fibre body and can reach a top speed of 221 miles-per-hour.
Terry purchased his Enzo shortly after Chelsea won the Europa League in 2013 and he discussed the decision in an interview with Petrolicious.
“I was probably about 20, 21. I used to go to a showroom in Surrey, they had Enzos, and the Enzo had been my dream car growing up but could never afford it,” explained Terry.
“It’s one of those things on the bucket list. Unfortunately, they were a lot cheaper back then as well. Wish I’d have bought one back then.
“I just loved the look and the limited availability of stuff like the Enzo. Not many on the road, one gets crashed per year as well, so they’re going down.
“It was an investment as well for the sake of the kids and stuff like that, but just loved to look at the Enzo and the classic cars. I love it.”
Terry also owns another Ferrari worth over £1million in the form of his 275 GTB which was first manufactured during the 1960s.
This model is worth £1.5million, was made famous by the actor Steve McQueen and can go from 0-60mph in just 60 seconds despite its age.
Terry purchased his version in 2015 from car dealer Tom Hartley Jr and previously explained that: “In England. I deal with Tom and he advises me on this stuff.
“I’ve had my eye on a couple of his cars for a few years and just decided to take the plunge (on the 275 GTB). I’ve always appreciated it.”
His £150,000 Testarossa was also made popular by appearances in pop culture having appeared in the Magnum PI television series.
The final Ferrari owned by Terry is a 458 Spider worth £170,000 which he uses as his every day runner.
The Spider model is particularly popular amongst footballers, with Mesut Ozil and Mario Balotelli both owning one themselves.
Terry bought his in 2012 and the supercar is capable of going from 0 to 60mph in just 3.3 seconds.
