Following Cate Blanchett’s recent visit to the Disneyland resort, the God of Thunder didn’t back away from the opportunity of providing some entertainment. The actor went on to joke about being still mad over Cate Blanchett for breaking his Mjolnir, referring to the moment when Hela breaks Thor’s Mjolnir in the film.
Even though it has been years since the duo crossed paths in Thor: Ragnarok, it’s obvious that Chris Hemsworth still cherishes his memories of working with his favorite actress.

Over the years Chris Hemsworth has been pretty vocal about the respect and appreciation he shares for his Marvel co-stars and also has expressed his love for Cate Blanchett’s skill and work ethic. During his appearance on a Youtube channel called Wired, the actor opened up about his appreciation for Blanchett and revealed that the Tár actress was his favorite actress. He said,
“Ooh the pressure. Cate Blanchett, I worked with on ‘Ragnarok’. It’s pretty hard to go by, you know, being an Australian, a fellow Aussie, someone I’ve looked up to for many years, many years, and has its been in some of my favorite films, played some of the best characters on screen and continues to do it with such grace and integrity and has a wonderful sense of humor. She’s brilliant.”

Although the actress has moved on from the comic-book franchise. Blanchett’s performance was enough to ensure Thor: Ragnarok’s success, which went on to garner $854M at the box office and is now widely regarded as the best Thor movie.
