Durant says NBA players still want positive feedback too

Fans can be ruthless, and while it’s important to remember that these players are humans too, there are going to be folks who forget that before saying something negative about a specific player.
According to Durant, many of these fans won’t understand how much work goes into being a professional athlete, specifically a professional basketball player. Fans see the games, but there are hours of practices, rehabs, and film sessions that fans don’t get a chance to see. As a result, the negative commentary that these players face can often make them feel unappreciated.
Some fans believe athletes may get annoyed by all the attention they receive, but if it’s positive commentary and appreciation, the players typically love it, according to Durant.
