Her pillow lips, platinum hair and boxom curves saw her compared to Marilyn Monroe when she first burst on to the scene in 2003.
And now Scarlett Johansson is taking on another pin-up icon.

Scarlett, 26, pouts and giggles throughout the video clip, appearing swathed in a dramatic satin dress and clutching bottles of champagne.
She has collaborated on the song with Gainsbourg’s son Lulu, for an album he is producing in tribute to his father, From Gainsbourg To Lulu.
Lulu sings his father’s lines in French, while Scarlett speaks and sings Bardot’s lines from the legendary song in English.

There have been many remakes of the 1968 song, which itself is said to be based on the poem The Trail’s End penned by one of the song’s namesakes, Bonnie Parker.
In 2007 Belinda Carlisle covered the song on her French-language album Viola, and Kylie Minogue sampled the song in her album the same year, Sensitized.
It appeared on albums released by both Gainsbourg and Bardot in 1968.
Songstress: Despite her debut album receiving less than stellar reviews in 2008, Scarlett has not given up on her love of music
Scarlett, who is currently hard at work on The Avengers blockbuster action film, has tried her hand at music a number of times.
Her debut album in 2008, Anywhere I Lay My Head, received mixed reviews. The album featured collaborations with David Bowie and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and featured primarily Tom Waits covers, and just one original.
More recently, Johansson teamed up with Massive Attack for the track Summertime.
