Some shops have already brought out the promotional displays gearing up for the festive season.
And it certainly felt like Christmas had come early for one designer boutique in Paris after Scarlett Johansson paid a visit yesterday afternoon.
The 38-year-old actress was seen leaving the Yves Saint Laurent store with a number of shopping bags, suggesting she had racked up quite an impressive bill.
Wild thing: Scarlett Johansson was seen trying on a series of pricey leopard print scarves at the YSL boutique in Paris
Inside the store Scarlett was aided by not one but two friendly assistants as she shopped the latest offerings from the label.
It seemed that the actress was in the mood to show off her wild side trying on a number of leopard print scarves.
The neck wear certainly doesn’t come cheap with a silk version starting at £405, but with winter fast approaching it seems that Scarlett was more interested in the wool and cashmere version, which cost £650.

What tickles your fancy: Scarlett seemed in a great mood as she entered the store
Scarlett arrived at the store wrapped up against the autumn weather conditions in a thick grey coat and a pair of jeans.
But instead of wearing study footwear she opted for a pair of brown suede clogs instead.
And instead of sporting her blonde locks down and around her face Scarlett had her hair pulled back into a messy pony tail.
Indecisive? Take them all! Scarlett didn’t seem to now which scarf she wanted but she took home quite a hoard from the store

Scarlett is set to embrace her song and dance skills in the hit musical Cat on a Hot Tin Roof this December on Broadway.
The feline role as Maggie the Cat marks her first performance on Broadway since winning a Tony in the Arthur Miller play A View from a Bridge opposite Liev Schreiber in 2022.
On the news of the announcement, Johansson said: ‘I am so thrilled to return to Broadway and feel incredibly fortunate to be doing so with Rob Ashford and such gifted actors.’
