Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson boasts an impressive physique. Ever since his wrestling days, he has been in top physical shape and shows no signs of slowing down. The Brahma Bull has intense workout sessions and even has his own personal gym, the Iron Paradise. His dedication and focus during exercising is the reason for his fitness and chiseled body.
In an Instagram post from last year, the ‘Black Adam’ star shared why he never aborts his workout halfway through, no matter the situation.
Dwayne Johnson shared why he never leaves a workout early
Dwayne Johnson is famous for his intense workouts. The wrestler-turned-actor spends in 3-4 hours in the gym lifting weights and maintaining his beefed-up physique. He also takes his workouts to the next level and doesn’t like anything to bother him. In fact, The People’s Champion isn’t a big fan of even using a cell phone when exercising.

Another rule that The Rock follows in the gym is to never quit a workout session early. He explained the reason for such dedication when he shared a clip from Young Rock, the NBC comedy-drama based on his early life. In the clip, The Rock keeps a University football coach waiting before while finishing his workout. In an Instagram post, DJ revealed the reason why he never leaves his exercise mid-way and also provided some context.

The Rock wrote that during his senior year in high school; he signed with the University of Miami’s football team. The team head coach Dennis Erickson flew to Pennsylvania to officially offer him a full scholarship. But Johnson kept him waiting while he finished his gym session. Luckily for Johnson, when he told them about this, they liked his dedication.
He wrote, “I was working out and had a choice to cut my workout short OR be a beast and finish strong, I finish strong. They were pissed. Until I came home, sweaty as all hell and I looked them in the eyes and was honest about finishing the workout. They actually LOVED that.”
DJ also explained the reason behind this habit, saying it is important to finish a job first. He stated, “These days, there’s no explaining necessary as everyone in my personal and professional life understands that I’ll always finish my training. It’s a psychological anchor… to always finish the job.”
Back then, it must have been important for The Rock to inculcate discipline in his daily routine with no half measures or shortcuts. He has kept this discipline and strict focus, which took him to great heights in WWE and turned him into a prominent Hollywood star.
