CRISTIANO RONALDO should return to Real Madrid after possibly being “fooled” by his Al Nassr contract, claims Rivaldo.
The striker signed a two-and-a-half year deal worth an estimated £173million a year when he joined the Saudi Arabian side in January.

But Rivaldo believes Ronaldo could be unhappy in the Middle East as he has had to adjust to a different type of lifestyle.
The Brazil legend says it would be good for Ronaldo to return to Real Madrid, where he scored 450 goals in 438 games between 2009-2018.
Rivaldo told Mundo Deportivo: “I understand that sometimes the players are fooled by the big contract they sign in Saudi Arabia , but then life there is more closed and football is not always as easy as expected.
“So, you may be going through a phase of some disappointment and even reflection. If the money you’re getting makes up for the not-so-happy life you’re living right now.
“It would be good for him and for football to see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Real Madrid to finish his career.
“Of course, the fans have to understand that they cannot demand the same from him as when he was 25 or 26 years old, but he can still help the club in more conquests”.
Ronaldo has scored 12 goals in 12 games for Al Nassr but he is believed to be keen on a transfer as girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is unhappy and is eager to move back to Madrid.
Los Blancos are interested in bringing CR7 back to the club too – but in an ambassadorial role.
He has also been linked to Newcastle but manager Eddie Howe played down talk of a blockbuster signing like Ronaldo or Neymar.
Howe said: “A lot of the names aren’t accurate. We need to recruit wisely.
“We want to discover them before they explode onto the world stage. We need to go underneath, find them young and develop them. I know the direction.”
