They have kept the plot of the new Thor movie under wraps, but one thing is for sure: Chris Hemsworth and his hammer are back.
The star was spotted reprising his role as the God of Thunder on the set of Thor: The Dark World in London on Monday.
With his long blonde locks and famous prop, Chris looked every inch the rugged superhero that has earned him a huge amount of female friends all around the world.

Chris appeared to be shooting a fighting scene as he waved his hammer in front of the camera, although his opponent was nowhere to be seen.
The stars buff physique was highlighted in his silver armour and red cape, as he shot the solo scenes in bustling centre of London.
In between takes, the muscular 29-year-old was touched up by a make-up artist to ensure he looks as handsome as ever.

Although the details of the storyline have been kept under wraps, Thor 2 will focus once again on the fractious relationship between Thor and his adopted brother Loki, played by British actor Tom Hiddleston.
Fans of the first movie will know that Thor was betrayed by his sibling on more than one occasion, and it seems as though that subject matter will continue on into the sequel.
Talking about the follow-up movie recently, Chris said of Thor and Loki’s relationship: ‘It’s what I loved about the comics. It was never clean and cut and that’s it. It was always like, Thor would forgive him, they’d be friends, and Loki would betray him again. “You idiot, Thor! Again?”‘

Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor is behind the camera this time, taking over the directorial duties from Kenneth Branagh who took on the first movie.
The star-studded cast also featuring Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgard and Zachary Levi.
