Trina Cary has done a rather ʀᴀʀᴇ photo shoot. The Aᴜsᴛʀᴀʟɪᴀn photographer chose the Sunshine Coast in Aᴜsᴛʀᴀʟɪᴀ to photograph 14 mothers as they ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴅ their children. “My my where to start … On March 2nd, I hosted my first Full Moon ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ Session and it was FUCKING AMAZING,” photographer Trina Cary wrote on her site. For those wondering what exactly that means, there are now some spectacular photos out here on the web of 14 new moms ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ on a local beach by moonlight.
The purpose of this photo album is to help new mothers around the world “love” their body shape after ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ʙɪʀᴛʜ. Trina said: “I want to help women learn to love the changes in their ʙᴏᴅɪᴇs after ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ʙɪʀᴛʜ. We are all beautiful in our own way, and we should not compare ourselves to each other. ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ is a special experience, so why not do it publicly.”
This particular shoot also felt important to Trina because of all the mothers’ differences coming together in the name of ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ their children. She said: “I was absolutely ecstatic to see these mothers ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ and not just newborns, there were a variety of ages, a couple 18 months and older, and to hear their journeys and realize for some of them it wasn’t an easy one.”
Many of the women sᴛʀᴜɢɢʟᴇᴅ with ᴄʜɪʟᴅʙɪʀᴛʜ or had a difficult time with ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ, which made the shoot all the more special. Most, Cary explained, were so in love with the idea of the shoot that they ɢᴏᴛ ɴᴀᴋᴇᴅ and ran around the beach. Cary explained: “I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face. I just love it when strangers come together and support each others journeys and ʙᴏᴅɪᴇs. The whole evening was oozing with empowerment, support and love.”
