Fabrizio Romano claims Chelsea ‘have doubts’ about mega money signing
Yesterday was a bit of a wild one in the world of Chelsea transfer news.
You can tell that January is now just three days away, as things are really starting to heat up now.
It looks like Chelsea are going to be the big spenders again of the January transfer window, just as they were in the summer. And they will be only one of a few clubs who are expected to be super active this winter.
Yesterday was all about their pursuit to land Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, with many different reports flying around.
It’s difficult to know exactly what is happening, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given what he believes is the situation.
Romano said on his YouTube channel, as cited below, that Chelsea have always been keeping an eye on Enzo Fernandez, even before the World Cup. But they have doubts about paying €120million for a single player due to FFP regulations. This of course, would be his release clause.
