Manchester United star Marcus Rashford netted a winner against Wolves on Saturday.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has opened up following his side’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Saturday. Marcus Rashford was put on the bench for the game at Molineux, with his manager revealing he’d made the call for ‘disciplinary reasons’. But the England international went from zero to hero to pop up with a crucial late winner to give his side all three points.
Manchester United had gone into the game with Wolves on a high after a stirring 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in midweek.
But there was a surprise before kick off when it emerged Rashford would be on the bench, despite the 25-year-old’s impressive form of late.
The United star was left on the bench but was introduced at half time, with Alejandro Garnacho making way.
Rashford then proceeded to score the winner in the 76th minute, converting from close range after good work from Bruno Fernandes.
And Ten Hag has now opened up on the England international after the game, hailing him for his heroics and insisting the matter had been put to bed.
