Messi has enjoying a break from the game following his heroics in Qatar.
He returned to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday morning and was treated to an incredible reception by his teammates and coaching staff at their training centre.
Messi was given a Guard of Honour and presented with an award while his teammates applauded them.

Kylian Mbappe, who was brilliant for France in the final but just came up short, was not present for Messi’s return.
The 24-year-old is currently in the United States of America with close friend Achraf Hakimi as he enjoys a break from the game.
But there was an Mbappe present for Messi’s return: Kylian’s 16-year-old brother, Ethan.
Ethan is yet to make his competitive debut for PSG but he has been training with the first team.
He could be seen welcoming the 35-year-old back to train.
While he applauded Messi, football fans think that he did not look too happy when welcoming back the Argentine.

When will Lionel Messi be back in action for Paris Saint-Germain?
Messi could make his first appearance of 2023 in PSG’s French Cup last 64 match against LB Châteauroux on January 6.
Should that be deemed too early for Messi, then it is likely he will make his return in PSG’s Ligue 1 clash against Angers on January 11.
The 35-year-old will be looking to build on a highly successful first half of the season.
Messi has played 19 times for PSG in the 2022/23 season, scoring 12 goals and recording 14 assists.
