Above her gorgeous sibling, this lovely fox cub was photographed mid-pounce.
As the two kits frolic, the brother is irritatedly glancing up at his naughty sister.
He dug deep tunnels and hid in them before being disturbed by his sister.
Len Greer, a 50-year-old business professional, took this magnificent shot at the Glen Rock Arboretum in New Jersey.
“For the past year, I’ve seen two fox dens in our town,” he added. “I generally go to this family since they enjoy to play in a neighboring field and these pups were born in the spring of 2017.”
“My all-time favorite is the pouncing fox kit shot, in which the sister is positioned above her brother as he anticipates the hit.” One of the kits started digging a hole in the field as soon as they arrived. He has a proclivity for digging and laying in holes.
“His (sister, I assume) had been following him in the hole and pounced on him. She fell so close to him that she saved him from a direct hit, exactly like human siblings might.
“I’ve been photographing animals for quite some time. I’m an animal lover rather than a photographer. Helene McGuire, a photographer at the time, and I met around a year ago. We share a passion for animals and have collaborated on an Instagram account.”
