Jeremy Renner has cordial relations with all the original Avengers – Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo. Not only that, Jeremy Renner imbibes the sense of comradery that the six of them share. The actor is often seen joking or poking fun at his co-actors. Once he shared a video where he was de-facing Chris Hemsworth from the Avengers: Infinity War poster. He and Scarlett Johansson too share a special bond because both of them did not have a solo movie, and were like kids, as Johansson said.
In a recent interview about his series Hawkeye and Mayor of Kingstown, Renner also praised Robert Downey Jr and thanked him for his generosity as he could rely on RDJ for advice or any information. In another interview around June 2018, Renner talked about how the original Avengers inked themselves to show solidarity.

The original six Avengers except for Mark Ruffalo got a special tattooAvengers cast
Jeremy Renner in conversation with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show was asked about a tattoo that the six Avengers were supposed to get. Renner revealed that all six of them decided to get a customized tattoo to commemorate their journey in the Marvel Cinematic universe. The tattoo had an ‘A’ symbolizing Avengers and a ‘6’ representing the number of original members, along with their symbols which were intertwined.
“The original six got a tattoo ’cause we’ve all been together over the last decade and spent a lot of time together,” Jeremy Renner said.
The actor then added that Mark Ruffalo chickened out and so now all five of them have the tattoo except Ruffalo. Jeremy Renner said maybe he just did not want to do it, and no amount of convincing helped.
“Ruffalo’s the only one that kind of chickened out at the last minute. I’m not sure why. He just didn’t want to do it. So, we’re like, ‘Well get some like henna, get something. It’s not really about the tattoo. It’s about the celebration of our friendship that’s bonded us over the last decade.’ “
The Hawkeye star told Fallon that they got their tattoos done in Los Angeles with tattoo artist Joshua Lord. Renner then went on to reveal that there is an Avengers group chat where he proposed the idea of replacing Ruffalo with the original Hulk, Eric Bana.
“So, we’re on this group text, all the Avengers, right? So, everyone’s just chiming in, ‘We’re having a problem with Ruffalo.’ So, I’m like, ‘Guys, I have Eric Bana’s number. Let me give him a call. The original Hulk. Exactly, or Ed Norton, I’ve got his number, I’ll call him and see if he wants to get in on it.’ “

After he cracked the joke, Jeremy Renner narrates in all seriousness that the tattoo artist did not just tattoo Renner and his co-actor but also asked them to give him the same tattoo. Jeremy Renner was shocked at that and also terrified when Fallon asked him if he knows how to tattoo. The actor says no yet in a very Jeremy Renner way he said, “I did it“.
